Personality: Bean is a rebellious spirit who lives to keep his friends happy.  However, he's kind of a ditz, especially when it comes to anything involving math.  His recklessness is both a blessing and a curse.

Bio: Bean's parents were dryads who moved to Tiamat City after they realized their village wasn't a safe place for their young son to grow up.  They found themselves a new home near the edge of the city, where they lived a relatively peaceful life once Bean grew out of his "spoiled brat" phase.

After Bean graduated middle school, he enrolled in the School for Hunters and Huntresses.  Though he didn't really want to be a Hunter at first (his parents made him join so he could protect himself), he slowly grew to enjoy it.  His favorite class is English, helped in part by his teacher, Lavernius Paul.  Even though school has grown on him, there are things that he's grown to dislike, ever since he became a target of the school bullies.  However, he was lucky enough to not be their sole target, and he's gotten some help from some friendly upperclassmen, Eve and Penelope.  Some other students have also let him sit at their table to avoid the bullies.

Strengths/abilities: Bean is already fairly skilled with his staff for his age, something he claims he picked up from watching kung fu movies.  In addition to using a staff, he also uses his nature abilities to form vines to immobilize opponents.  He's still learning how to use his powers, though.

Weaknesses: He's especially weak to fire-based attacks.  He doesn't have complete control over all his nature abilities yet, something he hopes to master in his training.  He's also fairly lazy and suffers from self-doubt, helped in no part by bullying.

Fun Facts:
- Bean actually predates most of my OCs, since he was originally designed in 2014 as a living plot device in my oldest OC series, The Baker's Dozen.  I decided he'd fit better somewhere else.
- Bean was originally a much flatter character.  He was mute in his Baker's Dozen appearance, though he later learned simple sentences.
- He is the progenitor for ever green-haired character and adoptable I've ever made.  The decision to make his hair green was probably inspired by the Sakamoto family from Cave Story.
